We have a United States Marine being held in a Mexican
prison for reasons other than criminal. While everyone seems to be looking for
a politically correct way to deal with this, may I remind you that in FY2010
the US gave South-of-the-Border $622,253,461:
Agriculture $149,851.00,Commerce $98,109.00,Energy
$18,661,203.00,HHS $670,750.00,Justice $5,004,463.00,State
$541,351,238.00,Interior $5,275,289.00,Treasury $184,970.00
,Environmental Protection $204,090.00,TradeCommission $13,696.00
,Inter-American $1,543,445.00,PeaceCorps $1,944,400.00 ,Development $746,676.00
,International Development $46,405,281.00.
With fiscal carnage upon us, it’s hard to wrap a brain
around the above numbers. Since 2001 we have paid over $1.7BILLION to “Thank-You-Very-Much-For-Being-Our-Neighbor-Even-Though-Your-People-Want-To-Leave-You-And-Cross-Over-The-Border”.
If you really want that US Marine to come home, tell Enrique,
no ticky-no wash.……get the picture?
